Adam's Need

Adam has severe CP (cerebral palsy) and needs to raise money for therapy, bills and to save towards his dream of someday walking. If you want to give to charity or are looking for a worthy cause to make a donation to, please consider helping Adam.

The cost of living with CP is staggering. Adam 's daily life is a financial and personal challenge and he does not know where else to turn for help. Adam was born with cerebral palsy (CP), he weighed only one pound, and doctors did not give him a good prognosis. He stayed in an incubator for three months, struggling to survive.

The doctors said he wouldn't make it past age one, but here he is today, still alive and living with a dream.

Adam has been confined to a wheelchair his entire life. His one goal is to walk but he needs major spinal surgeries just to sit up.

Just the basics to be able to function include physical therapy, medical equipment, special foods, personal care and assistance for everything. Adam does not have much hand function and needs help with virtually every task that most people do without even thinking about it.

He gets help with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, and doctor's appointments. Please help him by making a donation.

What Is the Cost of Adam's Daily Life? The everyday cost of living for with Cerebral Palsy adds up quickly.

Food: About $600/ month
Therapy: $300 a day for a physical therapist to improve mobility, decrease contractures and help with mobility to prevent skin breakdown and sores.
Wheelchair Maintenance: $100- $200 a month to make sure he can navigate the world safely and comfortably.
